Burial in Crown Hill cemetery will follow services at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Putnamville Methodist Church for Mrs. Eliza F. Wamsley, age 74, wife of Willard L. (Rube) Wamsley, Putnamville, retired Indianapolis fireman. She died Saturday in Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle, after an illness of two weeks. While a resident of Indianapolis, Mrs. Wamsley was active in the Mothers Club of the Indianapolis Boys Club, serving as the club’s president four years. She was active in the Ladies Aid Society at Putnamville and served as president of that organization four years. She was a member of the Putnamville Economics Club and Putnamville Methodist Church. Survivors besides the husband are four daughters, Mrs. Howard Sherman, Mrs. CJ Haggerty and Mrs. Wilbert O. Eggert, Indianapolis and mrs. SD Crane, Carmel; two sons, Walter A. Wamsley, Putnamville and Paul Wamsley, Indianapolis, a sister, Mrs. George Ross; 8 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. – transcribed by kbz
